Programs & Community Service

Lenz–Gazecki American Legion Post 152 serves veterans and the Menasha community through remembrance, service, fellowship, and practical local support. This page highlights the kinds of work the Post is involved in and the broader mission areas we are continuing to document.

How Post 152 Serves

Honor Guard & Funeral Honors

Post 152 supports remembrance and dignity for veterans through honor guard and funeral-honors work. This service remains one of the clearest ways a local Legion post shows up for veterans and their families.

Memorial & Remembrance Work

The Post helps preserve community memory through ceremonies, memorial observances, and projects that honor those who served. That includes support for remembrance efforts, memorial spaces, and the ongoing responsibility to keep veterans’ stories visible in public life.

Local Veteran Support & Giving

Post 152’s work is not only ceremonial. The Post also supports veteran-focused causes and local community needs through donations, practical support, and partnerships when opportunities arise. The goal is to keep resources close to real veteran and community needs whenever possible.

Fellowship, Membership & Civic Participation

Regular meetings give veterans a place to stay connected, support one another, and remain active in the life of Menasha. Post 152 brings together members around service, mutual support, and the shared traditions of The American Legion.

Broader American Legion Mission Areas

The American Legion nationally is also known for veterans services, youth leadership and citizenship programs, scholarships, Americanism, and family support. As this site grows, we will continue documenting which of those mission areas are active locally through Post 152 and which are best accessed through the wider Legion network.
