Who We Are
Lenz–Gazecki American Legion Post 152 is a local post of The American Legion serving veterans, families, and the broader Menasha community. We bring together veterans of many eras around service, fellowship, remembrance, and continued commitment to country and community.
Our Post reflects the American Legion tradition of mutual helpfulness: veterans supporting veterans, members showing up for one another, and neighbors working together to strengthen Menasha and the Fox Cities.
What We Stand For
- Service to veterans through connection, advocacy, and practical support
- Patriotism and remembrance through ceremonies, memorial observances, and honoring those who served
- Community involvement through volunteer work, civic participation, and local partnerships
- Camaraderie by providing a place where veterans can stay connected and involved
What That Looks Like Locally
In Menasha, that mission takes practical form. It means gathering regularly, showing up for remembrance work, supporting veterans close to home when possible, and maintaining a visible place for veterans in community life. Post 152 is part fellowship, part service organization, and part steward of local memory.
How We Serve
Post 152 supports the mission of The American Legion across its core areas of veterans affairs, Americanism, youth and community support, and national security. In practice, that means showing up locally—through meetings, honor guard and funeral-honors work, memorial traditions, community presence, and helping veterans stay connected to trusted resources and to one another.

A Local Post with Deep Roots
The name Lenz–Gazecki reflects the Post’s commitment to memory and legacy as well as service in the present day. We are building a fuller public history of the Post and its members over time, including photos, clippings, and community records that help preserve the story of veterans in Menasha.
